I love getting eyebrows professionally waxed, but I always have a terrible breakout above my eyebrows when they wax there and on my temples. anyone else experience this? is it from the wax? what's the alternative? i can never do it as well as the pros can.

the last time i got my brows waxed at a salon, i was told it is the azulene oil that they put on after to remove the excess wax and to soothe your skin that causes the breakouts. when I told her i break out after waxing, she just used aloe and - ta-da! no breakouts for the first time ever! hope this helps!

thanks. that's what I thought it probably was. I will let the salon know next time.
To me, the eyebrow waxing isn't painful at all. If any pain, it's for such a quick second that it's not even worth talking about for me. Plus, they do them so much better than I could do myself and when I do it myself, I don't do it right the first time and have to redo. it's definitely worth doing, in my opinion and it's only like $10-$12.
