Hi,
I'm a collegiate ditance runner and about three weeks ago started feeling slightly nauseated a lot of the time. I then began cramping up (almost always on the right side) while competing and now experience a constant shortness of breath, especially when I first wake up in the morning. The Doc gave me Nexium because he thought it might be stomach acid but I doubt it. It just feels like my stomach is always "tight". I've been staying hydrated and eating the same foods as well. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Check out the lyme disease board here on healthboards...My first sign of lyme disease and 2 coinfections was shortness of breath and digestive issues. I had a lot of nausea and lost 15 lbs. in 3 weeks.

I hope you feel better soon and hope it isn't lyme. I don't remember a tick bite nor did I have a bull's eye rash.
