I had MOHS surgery on my left ear and a skin graft was performed .Two weeks later when the surgeon was removing the stitches from the area (clavicle) the wound opened .The surgeon said it will be fine , but today (a day after the occurence) the area looks hideous . I'm wondering if this is the way its supposed to look or I am I in danger of an infection ?

Then if the Dr didn't tell you to put any antibiotic ointment on I'd give him a call.

He told me to wash with peroxide and apply bacitracin .People are telling me to use saline solution instead of peroxide
