Hi,
I saw a post on this same issue from a long time ago but I was just curious if anyone had any advice or information about this. Only the right submandibular gland (right below my jaw) is very swollen. It has been swollen for up to 8 months and has not gone down at all. It just recently started becoming a little painful. I saw a doctor about this before and I was given antibiotics that did nothing.. I have never had anything like this before. Does anyone know what it might be or what I can do to help get rid of the swelling/pain?

Hi! I suggest seeing your dr again. If they won't do anything, then see an ENT. It could be a chronic infection, a blocked salivary gland, or something else entirely.

Good luck and keep us posted! :)

I was just wondering, did your submandibular gland ever go down, or is it the same. The reason I ask is mine has been enlarged for over 2 years and I have received no answers.

Thanks
