View Full Version : malignant basal cell carcinoma

My husband was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma on his ear a few years ago. He had spots removed, more spots removed with Mohns surgery, 30 sessions of radiation and now it has come back again. It seems this cancer has been pretty aggressive so now it has gone deeper. The docs are going to do surgery, if they ever get around to scheduling it, and will be taking off his ear as well as going deeper to try to get all the cancer. I would love any experience, strength and hope on this subject. I have him on a regiment of juices, Essiac Tea and mushrooms and want to find a good acupuncturist. Any other suggestions? I have read that a lot of the time this cancer comes back, as a lot of them do, even with this surgery. Help.

I don't have a lot of experience with BCC or a reoccurance. I just wanted to say that I hope all goes well. Melanoma patient info searches usually can provide a lot of info on the different types of melanoma. Wishing your husband the best.
