Hi, I am about to turn 18 in a few weeks, I've had a moderate varicocele in my left testies for around 8-6 months now, and it is starting to ache a little bit now and my left testies feels heavier then the right. I am concerned if this varicocele will shrink my testicles if i leave the varicocele alone, and how much will it shrink my testicles? If my tests are shrunken, and I remove the varicocle will my testicles grow back to its normal size? Also will this varicocele grow bigger? How do i know the maximum size it'll grow into or if the size of the one i have now is fully grown? If surgically removed or embolizationed will it still grow back? if it does how does it grow back and what makes it grow back? What should i do to prevent my testicles from shrinking from the varicocele? Will this varicocele effect the feeling of orgasm? will it make me feel less pleasure when i have sex? Will varicocele reduce my testerones and lower my sex drive?
Should i get it removed? if so what treatment should i get? and if i do get it surgically or embolization , how big will the scar be and where? Thanks,
Lots of questions, yeah im just very worried.
Any answers and advise would be greatly apprieciated, thanks a lot guys.

I don't know much abou this and wish I could be more help. I do know that it is possible that the varicocele can cause the effected testicle to produce less testosterone. There is some chance it will not effect your testicle in this way but you must let a good urologist examine you. In fact, get at least 2 opinions. This is important, don't ignore it.

Don't worry, it will do no good. You are getting in as fast as you can...thats all you can do. I doubt 4 weeks will matter. We can not post websites in this forum but you can search for them on the internet or just search for your condition for more information. My point was to make sure you don't cancel your appointment since this can lead to problems. Usually once the Varicocele is repaired I believe for most men testicular function returns to normal. Depending on the situation your testicle may be functioning normally anyway.
