For the past 2 weeks or so, I have had this constant strange feeling in my arms, legs, hands, feet, and face. The only way I can think to describe it is that it feels like when you stand up too fast after laying down and all the blood rushes out of your hea and you get dizzy and light-headed,but it's not my head. I've also noticed that the affected areas are a lot less sensitive than they used to be. Also, my toung and the roof of my mouth are almost completely numb and sometimes get the same feeling as everything else, and I've been very shakey and un-steady on my feet. At first I thought it was a reaction from the pain medication I was taking, but the feeling is still there and I haven't taken any pain meds in a few days. So, is there anyone out there dealing with something simmilar to this? Does anyone know what might be causing it or what I might be able to do to treat it?:dizzy:

Hi jrc........sorry to read about the medical problems which you are describing. I highly recommend that you make an appointment with you GP, and explain your symptoms. From there, they should refer you to a specialist for some additional tests.

What you describe sounds to be some kind of a (spinal cord) compression problem. The sooner you have a potential problem checked out, the better. It's early with your symptoms, and so important not to just write it off as something that will just go away. I wish not to make you worry needlessly. I wish for you to be on top of, and perhaps even rule out life changing diseases.

Perhaps a form of Neuropathy ........ but you may never know unless you look into these symptoms further with a medical professional.

Wishing you the very best in health..............
