Yoohoo...I'm sure we are going to have lots of posts before Christmas...that's usually a good time for my IBS to flare up...all those "wonderful" family emotions...How about stuffing a turkey with Psyllium husk fiber. Then people can't claim you don't care about your family...just a thought...

Hi Ladies--I have found an old remedy for your ITBS problem you might give it a try. It has helped my 18 year old alot in the first year of college. Try Brewers Yeast tablets. He takes 2 every morning. If any trouble shows up use 2 more at lunch and supper. When you are new in college the one think you don't want or need is this problem. Give it a try. The tablets are around $6.00 per 100 pills--very cheap and worth a try. Have a good day--Lady Slipper

Aha!...I made it to the boards! Sure took me long enough. I wonder if everyone on the old IBS boards will be coming over here. Hmmm.

Hey, are any of you trying to prepare in any way for the stresses and the food that come along with the holiday season? And if so, how? I was just curious. -Jacinta <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif">

I'm getting ready for the holidays the same way I would get ready for any old day...STICK TO YOUR SOLUBLE FIBER GUYS!!!! If you don't want to feel like crap, don't eat crap! I swear, the key to IBS is eating right. Yeah, i know that's what the quacks say, but they might be on to something there, at least it works to a degree...
