View Full Version : Favorite book for IBS w/constipation?

I've had IBS w/constipation for 29 years and it has continued to get worse over the years. I've recently decided to start researching (again) to see if there are any new recommendations out there that I haven't previously tried. I came across the book "The First Year: IBS" by Heather Van Vourous. I was thinking about ordering her other book "Eating for IBS", but I'm kind of thinking her food recommendations may be geared more towards diarrhea instead of constipation. Has anyone else read her books and if so what did you think? Do you have another book that you prefer? I've always found it hard to follow an eating plan before because coffee is the only thing that will make me go to the bathroom, but it's also a big trigger for my stomach pain. I just found out about Miralax and I'm thinking that will help me enough that I can skip the coffee (crossing fingers).
