I am a moderate drinker (wine daily) and my liver values are trending up. ALP PHOSPATE was 157, ALT 48, AST 35 (WNL). How concerned should I be -- billirubin is fine, other that intermittent fatigue I fell fine. Numbers have been trending up for past year -- am also wondering if CT or ABD Ultra sound would be a good idea ??

Are you on a statin?

-Could be caused by medication
-Have you been tested for hepatitis B and C?
-How are your cholesterol/ HDL/ LDL/ Triglycerides?
-What does the doctor say?

Hi in my opinion when the values are up the liver is at least stressed or wearing in some way. I would drop the drink for good and avoid all food additives and drug substances.

Have you had any tests besides blood work to diagnose the liver values? Someone did ask if you were on a statin, if so, get it checked as you made need to go off of them. If they keep trending upward, an ABD Ulra sound might be benificial to make sure nothing else is going on.

Wishing you luck...JJ....
