On my left arm (an a little on my right), I have a blood-like rash. It's clumped up somewhat in the same area with the color of blood. It's below my skin. I'm not sure what it is or if it needs medical assistance, but all insight is appreciated.

Is there any way you could provide a picture?

I tried, but it doesn't show up too well on the webcam.

It's been occuring around the end of the school year for the past 3 or 4 years now, coming earlier with each year.

Is this clear enough?

The picture didn't come in. Describe the size. Is it growing?

In total, it's about 3 inches long and one inch wide. It's been about the same size the whole time. The first year I got it, I thought it was maybe related to stress, but then it started coming in every year.

When it's gone what does the skin look like. Is it discolored or healthy looking?
Google a picture of Ecchymosis and see if it looks like that.

Healthy looking. It generally goes away a few weeks after the end of the school year.

Is your blood pressure okay?

It doesn't look like any of the Ecchymosis pictures and when I went to the Doctor last Friday, my blood pressure was just fine.

Just a wild thought. Is there any chance you are causing this by, maybe how you are carrying your books or something that might be stressing the skin? It's so odd that it goes away when you're out of school.

I usually carry my books either infront of me or on my right side, both at the waist level.

The pattern of it coming and going indicates that you are probably doing something to cause this. Skin problems don't come and go depending on when you are in school.

Are there any seasonal rashes?

It seems that if it were due to a seasonal allergy you would be experiencing other symptoms.
