I've got a ganglion on my wrist and at first it didn't bother me but it's grown so you can see i have an obvious lump on my wrist now and tonight I'm getting achy pains in my wrist and fingers and it's feeling harder to use.

I've looked into treatments but a lot of them say they'll just come back most of the time.

Does anyone suffer with large ones or obvious ones?

Try taping it...wrapping the tape (athletic type) around your wrist, flattening it as much as possible. It may make it go away - it did for one I had on my foot.

You can also have it surgically removed. And here in the US they are called "Bible bumps" because the home remedy is to hit it with a Bible (any large book but most families back in the day only had Bibles) and burst it. Not a recommended way to do it.

It burst this morning, I just lifted myself off the sofa and felt a slight thing in my wrist and it was gone.

You might still want to tape it so that it "seals" and doesn't return...but glad it did that on its own!
