I found out that my daughter has a script for Xanax, and Adderal. Now I have heard thru a reliable source that she is also taking Loritabs.

I know nothing about these drugs. I am reading the net to find out what they are about but if she is addicted to all 3 at once? I am heartbroken and know this is not good.

Please help ANYONE!!! She is 32 and won't admit to any of this.

Thank you for any input.

I wish I could help. I'm sorry for your pain. You need to have an honest talk with your daughter.

Yes, talk to her. Adderal doesn't have to be abused. She may have ADD or ADHD... maybe didn't tell you or was embarrassed. The Xanax, well, it's an easily abused drug...but if she has a legit script, she also may have a legit problem. Same with the other.
Speak with her kindly, at least to start. Some people if they suffer from say, anxiety issues (enter Xanax) or ADD etc, feel like they let their family down and don't want to share that they have problems... they feel a certain amount of shame.
But those problems don't have to be addiction.
Then again, they could, for sure. And it's gotta be gotten to the bottom of sooner than later.
I take several meds that have addiction potential but only have issues with one.

The point is, as Slenderella said, have a heart to heart with her... see where she is at. You should be able to tell pretty quickly if she's getting pills from friends, getting them from different doctors for non legit reasons etc.
Best of luck!
