I had a bloating problem 6 months ago. Anything I would eat I would get full and my left side of abdomen would bulge out. I lost weight from it and would never feel well. Bowels changed as well. About a month or two ago I got an appointment, doctor put me on Dicyclomine capsules to eat before meals. Said it could be IBS but wanted to see how the pills would help. I have less pain now but everything seems so inconsistent. I haven't gained weight back, I float around the same lost weight from months ago. The past few days I haven't wanted to eat much, stomach feels all strange. Almost feel gas is in there. But before I went to the doctors months ago when this all started happening, my left side rib cage near the left side of my abdomen right where my top left ab would be, it sticks out more than the right. I am pretty sure it wasn't like that before and I noticed it when my symptoms started. 6 months later I still think and worry about it. Can this be anything? I really want to feel well again and be back to normal. Other random things that have developed is a dry area on the back of my left hand over my pinky side. Sometimes itches. Thanks for any insight I feel like there's more of a problem those pills can't fix.

Also currently my left side of abdomen feels burning. Like my stomach. Not painful though. Most recent stools have been long, skinny. Light brown to dark clay color usually light brown. But bowels are inconsistent. Also trembling in hands is noticeable to me. In my fingers.

Just want to update again. Had two eggs, peanut butter sandwich. About 30 minutes to an hour later felt kinda nauseous and almost like gas was coming up my throat. That went away. It hasn't been like that except for these past couple days.

Dicyclomine is used in IBS patients for the severe abdominal cramps that come with either a bout of diarrhea or constipation. I have had IBS-A alternation between constipation and diarrhea since June 1996 I tend to have more problems on the constipation part because I have had chronic constipation problems all my life even before the IBS diagnosis. If I am severely constipated, not moved my bowels in more than 3-5 days,I get very gassy. I get the trapped gas which causes pain in my rib cage area in the left side most of the time and I also expel a lot of sulfurous gas until I move my bowels . This could be causing pain, your pain, the trapped gas and could make your left side stick out some because you have a lot of trapped gas. this can be very painful. When I get this painful trapped gas the only thing that helps is to go sit on the toilet and place my right hand just below the belly button and push inward and down and try to expel as much gas as possible. Then I take 10 slow deep breaths and hold it to the count of ten and slowly exhale through pursed lips. This helps relax the rectal and anal sphincter muscles so I can move my bowels a little easier if I am constipated instead of straining and pushing so hard to pass hard stool. this is what i found that helps me with the gassiness problem most of the time. I hope this willl help you some.

I have gone through the exact same situation.
Problem suddenly appeared after my roommate girl friend thought I was trying to steel her girlfriend so she poisoned the milk. I really didn't think about someone doing that but she didn't like men and I'm not talking about the nice kind of lesbian. It was two weeks of shittting blood and urinating it as well. I was on my way to the gym like every body builder at 22 trying to improve on my health and looks, and I was having coffee that morning,,,,,,,,,,,, but my roommate is lactose intolerant. As I used milk in my coffee I went off to the gym and when I arrived I needed to pee and when I looked down It,,,,,,,,,,,, was darker than when I drank the coffee,,,,,LOL I laugh at it a little but I didn't know it was blood. When I arrived back home I didn't want to eat and I was still ******* blood, that was day one. Day two I tried the same routine but when I poured the milk in the coffee I noticed that it looked like cottage cheese and the the milk was not expired. OK may be its E.R. time yep here I am Doc ! Watts the problem ! ? Well, you may have not ever had seen this one be for but Doc I pee coffee,. Results say its blood it may be an infection and I will give you antibiotics, and if the bleeding does not stop in seven days come back. I did 9 days later with the same problem, I was loosing blood and after testing it was not ulcerous and I was pushed down the road,,,,,,,after the bleeding stopped because I was in pain and most places dont want to treat you for pain. They knew I didn't have an ulcer or hemorrhoids. I lost my job my apt and was homeless in Sacramento that winter and have been treated like **** sense because of pain issues.
Rather than treat me for pain I was given two choices get a colostomy or three feet of my colon removed. There is a reason why I stay away from gay women, and I had more respect for them than I did for my self. Time has changed now and Im 43 and in grate pain to tis day and most everyday. Burning diarrhea bloating cant eat black stools cramping , and even passing out on pain, but when I wake up from passing out from the pain I am so high for about 15 min.
