Could I please get help in talking w/my dr about the same symptoms I had back in February? I have severe day-long dizziness and bulging headaches, along w/fatigue, weakness, ringing in the ears, heartburn and inability to focus. I also have a weak-feeling stomach, sometimes nausea, but no vomiting, yet!
I really do not want to sound like a complainer, but I did leave work early today because I could not take my head spinning and bulging one more second!!!

Sounds like you have bad allergiers/sinusitis. What did he say back in February and what have you been taking/doing since?

It was completely dismissed and that's why I'm uncomfortable paying money to go back in just to be dismissed. I also take OTC allergy med. everyday.

Have you had allergy testing? What antihistamine are you on? Do you use a neti pot or saline sinus spray? What kind of doctor did you see? What did he actually say? I'm having a hard time understanding what actually happened. We really don't know enough to make a good suggestion

I do have bad allergies/sinus problems. I use Afrin @ night, Chlorpheniramine daily. I've been tested, many yrs. ago, and I'm allergic to trees, grass, dust, cats & dogs. My dr is a general practicioner & refers me to specialists which I can not afford. After your post, I rounded up some Mucinex and Amoxicillin, but it hasn't had time to make any difference. So, I will check back in tomorrow, after work, to report any changes. I appreciate your quick responses and the enlightenment! It just makes sense.

The Afrin should not be used for more than 3 days otherwise you get a rebound effect and it causes what you are trying to get rid of! Try to wean off it and get on a saline spray like Ayr. It's much cheaper and won't cause a rebound. Or you could use a neti pot. Also, I'd switch to zyrtec. if oyu know anyone who belongs to Costco, it's on $17 for 365 pills there. Very cheap. FOrget the amoxixillin. It won't help allergies. And they've probably changed over the years, which they do with most people.

But the above should be a better start on clearing your sinuses.

The routine I started yesterday has provoked some changes. That includes the Amoxicillin. My head is still heavy and now my throat/ears are scratchy, instead of itchy.
I will decrease the Afrin and try the saline. Do you think the Mucinex is doing this alone?
Zyrtec used to be my go to for allergies, but it wasn't working is why I switched. None of the others work for me either.
Thank you sooo much for the advice. I appreciate you and the dr visit save!
