stringy saliva, excess saliva, smelly saliva... is this a bacterial problem? I also have pain in my stomach and some constipation.

I have been diagnosed with IBS but I suspect i have a bacteria colony causing the problem.

I cary a cup or bowl around the house with me because i have to spit so often to prevent drooling, and it's stringy , sometimes with yellow mucous. If I smell the spit later it smells almost sweet, and when I dump it out it's like a jelly blob in the sink or toilet.
