View Full Version : Unsolvable Stomach Pains

For the past 4 years, I have had chronic stomach pain after eating.

What it is:

Stomach ache after eating
-Can occur while i'm eating or within 20 minutes after
-Feels like a stomach ache and is central.. maybe..maybe.. a little to the left but definitely central
Extreme fullness with certain meals
-Stay extremely full for like an hour

Interesting to note and unexplainable:
-Stomach ache and relative fullness are alleviated for the most part when sitting up right/standing AND not moving. Thus, after eating i cannot walk which is extremely difficult to maintain a optimal social life. (Go out to eat..etc)

-Also often times my stomach ache will go away but if I do any even light excercise it will return and increase linearly with the amount/time of exercise
-Also forceful burping temporarily relieves pain but does not permanently relieve pain (Do not feel the absolute need to burp, however.)

Tests done:
-Allergy test- Blood & Skin & Food
-Endoscopy x 3=Eonsinophilic esophagitis
-Colonoscopy=All Clear
-Abdominal Ultrasound=All Clear

Pain is not due to esophagitis given I went on an elimination diet and on flovent and had another endoscopy done to confirm remission but stomach aches still occur.

Doctor believes I have IBS/Functional Dyspepsia

Just so strange though that sitting upright and not moving relieves almost all pain.

Any comments are gladly appreciated!

Note: The Pain is 100% food related. If i don't eat, no pain.

Have you been tested for celiac disease? Its a blood test.
