    Wrist injury possible

I injured my right hand and left wrist on October 4th while performing CPR. My right hand we thought was sprained and healed quickly. My left wrist on the other hand has not. I went to urgent care October 14th and the doctor examined my wrist but didn't do an x-ray or anything. She put a splint on my wrist and said your out of work for 2 weeks and follow up with primary. Well, I am instead seeing a sport medicine doctor regarding my left wrist on Thursday. I was told its probably just a sprain. My concern is since the day before I saw the doctor the pain has increased. Some swelling not a lot, mostly pain. What do you guys think?

Id get a xray or mri, sometimes a scaphoid frx doesn't show up right away, or you could have torn ur tfcc.

They initially thought that mine was a sprain, too. They did an MRI, and found out that I have a huge central TFCC tear. If ulnar deviation hurts you, or when you press on your fovea spot, you probably have some type of TFCC tear. It usually presents as a sprain at first, so I would definitely get this checked out as soon as you can.
