    Hello, I had basal joint arthroplasty on July 15th. I went into it blind.

    As you may be finding out the recovery can be slow, lots of patience is needed. I had it 3 1/2 years ago am an so glad I did. ....trapeziectomy and LRTI. It took months to get range and strength back. They are lots of good posts here if you care to look them up. Healing wishes!
