    Question Sharp pain upper arm

    Hi all,

I have a few strange symptoms that I have been trying to Google for days. So far no luck. Hoping anyone has an educated opinion on this.

For the past week and a half, I've been experiencing sharp pain in my right upper arm. Whenever I put pressure on my feet - especially the left one - by walking, running or jumping, I experience a sharp pain in my right upper arm (backside, triceps region). I can move and swing my arm without feeling any pain and putting pressure on the area itself doesn't hurt - it just feels a little tender. When I twist that region, though, I experience the same sharp pain.

I just discovered I also feel this sharp sensation in my upper arm when 'massaging' my armpit (discovered this during a shower).

Furthermore there's a patch on my hand (below the thumb/between the index finger) that feels like it's asleep. It's not numb, but it feels different, like a foot that has gone to sleep. When I pinch the area, I feel it but it's a different sensation.

Finally, my right leg seems to feel 'tired' more often than the left but this could literally just be in my head because I might be imagining things.

Could this have to do anything with a pinched nerve or something similar? I asked a physiotherapist and she just said "well, that's weird" but didn't really offer any advice.

    Re: Sharp pain upper arm

Pinched nerve would definitely be my guess. I'm not a doctor, or anything close, but I do have personal experience with so called pinched nerves from a jacked up cervical spine & jacked up lumbar spine stemming from a car accident last year. One of my bulging/herniated discs in my neck (my suspect is C5-C6) causes intermittent, but daily burning, radiating pain in my upper left arm. I have daily but intermittent tingling in my right foot from a herniated L5-S1 disc too. So yeah, I'd say those symptoms you've been dealing with could stem from neck/back problems, it's something to mention to your doctor. Do you have any kind of pain or stiffness in your neck and/or lower back?

Good luck, I hope you find answers & especially relief soon!!! I just re-read your post and see this was from over a month ago. I hope you're not still dealing with this, but if you are, hang in there!!!
