    Hand/wrist pain

Hi, I'm 26 and have dealt with pain in my wrist since I was 18. In the past two years it's gotten way worse, and is something I deal with 24/7. It's only my right hand, it's always swollen and I have this small swollen lump in my wrist that never goes away. The pain is a warmth/burning sensation, kind of an achy feeling as well. I have a hard time stretching my fingers all the way out. I've been to my doctor and she sent me to have a nerve conduction study for carpal tunnel and it came back negative. I was just wondering if anybody else has had the same issues and what the results were, or opinions on what is happening to me.

    Thank you in advance!

    Re: Hand/wrist pain

The lump doesn't seem anything like carpal tunnel.

You may need to ask for a scan or referral to a specialist. I can't imagine why your doctor did not order some kind of a scan to see what caused the swelling. Not to scare you but it also could be cancer.
