Question Goosebumps near metal hardware/incision site

I recently underwent an ulnar shortening osteotomy, and I'm now 6 weeks post op. I've always been susceptible to goosebumps, chills, and shivers. But ever since I had the surgery, I've felt the goosebumps are more accentuated at the incision site, or maybe it's the metal plate and screws.

Is this something other people have experienced? Did it go away? Or is it just something to expect to have from now on?
    TIA!
