    TFCC injuries

In September, I started having some pretty sharp pains in my wrist. I went to the orthopedist and also had an MRA. It showed some tenosynovitis as well as a couple of tears in the TFCC. I went to hand therapy for 3 weeks where we did some strengthening as well as some anti-inflammatory medicine administered with electrodes. While my wrist feels better than it did, I am still feeling some pain. It has been 2 1/2 weeks since my last visit, and I'm wondering how long it takes for this kind of thing to feel normal. The doctor said I could get a cortisone shot if I felt I needed it, but I'm not sure I'm really feeling enough pain to justify that.

The cortizone shot did nothing but make it worse for me, they tried a cast for 6 weeks, felt better for a while but the pain is back.
