| methotrexate and cellulitis
On the Monday before Thanksgiving I awoke with a 102 fever and my eyelids very swollen...the right one swollen shut. I went to the Dr. and he put me right in the hospital where I stayed until that Friday. They said it was periorbital cellulitis probably caused by a minor sinus infection and possibly triggered by the methotrexate I've been taking for over a year. Has anyone had this problem? My rheumy will tell me tomorrow when I can resume the metho....probably right away 'cause I'm starting to ache.
