Re: Aspergers and tv obssessions

Hi All

Liam is a little tv crazy too. He memorizes his favourite lines from the tv, and it makes up, probably about 80% of his speech. Right now, it's Bug's Life, and Baby Einstein is a constant. He wants it on, all the time. He wants it as background noise while he plays. He's been seeing the preview for Cars, and already begs me to put it on. He's going to love the movie when it comes out. I'm sure we'll all have it memorized, too.

MY dd loves musicals. She gets stuck on one song and wants to see it over and over. Thank goodness for DVDs. Right now she is stuck on Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and South Pacific. All day I had the words to Happy Talk in my head.

Sherri Elanor,

I like musicals too, and especially like Andrew Lloyd Webber. Evita and Cats are my favorites. (You would probably expect someone with the internet name of "9CatMom" to like the musical Cats!)
