Hi, I,m looking for some advice. I have had asthma for many years and I am prescribed montocolusk and fostair inhaler, however had a wee attack yesterday and have been prescribed amoxicillin and predisolene, however my peak flow is now 200 and I'm struggling to even walk a few steps. The last time I went into hospital I was on numerous nebulisers which did not help. Do you think I am better off staying at home and waiting for the medication to kick in, as this is only the second day on them.
I would be grateful for any advice. Millie

I don't know what your normal peak flow is, but 200 sounds pretty low. If you are struggling so much that you can barely walk, I think you need to go to the ER immediately, and of course use your rescue inhaler if you haven't already. Good luck.
