    LOL <<<<the most cynical laugh.

    I'll share my story, in case it scares someone else enough to treat their asthma immediately. I experience mild symptoms of asthma during extremely cold (like 10 degrees and under) weather-never bad enough to require anything other than a steamy shower. I traveled a long distance to a new place that was quite warm, normal humidity, etc.. Something in the air in this new place triggered worse and worse symptoms with each passing day. I had never had asthma like this in my entire life. I left it untreated for over a month and now I have a severe respiratory infection.

    tl;dr: don't wait to treat your asthma, no matter what
