Headache, burning chest, coughing feel chilled on inside

I'm just learning about this asthma stuff. Was diagnosed with asthma a couple months ago. I received the shingles shot and flu shot a week ago. Now I have a headache, burning chest, coughing, sore throat, chilled feeling but no fever, super tired my joints are all achy. I'm wondering if getting the two shots have flared up my asthma. I did 2 puffs of rescue inhaler didn't help about an hour later I did 2 more that seemed to help some, but now a couple hours later I'm feeling like I can breath as good again. I'm getting air I just breathe much more shallow. On a daily basis I take 2 puffs symbicort -twic daily, singular, allegra and two squirts Flonase morning and night. Any suggestions? Maybe this isn't even asthma??

Sounds more like a minor virus of some sort and is just coincidental. One of the flu meds like alka seltzer plus or Theraflu would probably help.

    I agree with Titchou.

A few years back, I got very sick a few days after a flu shot. My neurologist who did a thorough health history told me about some Japanese research that said as some people's bodies adapt to the flu shot, it can allow a virus already in the body to become active while your defences are down. I happened to get a rather nasty one at the time.

As for the asthma make connection, it can trigger sometimes by other upper respiratory illnesses. You are on a good daily regiment, similar to what I was on for years. During use your emergency inhaler as needed. Hope you feel better soon.
