Back with a vengeance and WEIRD symptoms

BACKGROUND: Allergic Rhinitis all my life(47), diagnosed with asthma 3 years ago. Never felt wheezing or the "classic" symptoms, other than pain in back, shortness of breath. This went worse having a strong bout every cold I've got and I've got plenty a year. Same symptoms but more persistent. ER treatment: IV Hydrocortisone, Combivent nebulizations, and 5 days of 50 mg prednisone.

After several med combinations I ended up wit Symbicort 160/2 puffs a day and montelukast 50 mg once daily, and Combivent Turbuhaler as my rescue med. Docs find out the I've got GERD and a Hiatus Hernia that complicated things, and began treatment. But it was not until I started with allergy shots when the real improvement began, 1.5 years completely off symptoms other than some mild feeling here and there, even with colds.

After three consecutive spirometry tests that went better than normal I've got discharged from the Specialist Service, back in may, to the normal service(I'm a recently divorced and poor guy).

CURRENT WEIRD AND STRONG BOUT: Nightmare began with a bout of nocturnal cough that woke me up, went to the normal doc: GERD she said. One day later what seemed like a cold, runny nows, sneezing, watery eyes, no fever, started. The day after that a COUGH that huge, with green phlegm and such an intensity that it made me puke more than once. Two antibiotics later, I was pretty much the same, but my lungs remained clean, until 20 days of non stop coughing and GERD, reactivated my asthma in a very different way, at least for me.

My new weirdest(for me) symptoms: A gas/vibrating like sound, like the one you have in your belly when you have too much acid, but in my back, apparently coming from my lungs with deep inhalations and exhalations, Sometime I could even fell the movement under my skin with my fingers. Int to the ER doc, Mild Bronchospasm. Combivent Nebulizations and a new antibiotic, no asthma mentioned, lungs cleared. But his evolved to the most WEIRD SYMPTOM, a gurgling sound when breathing lying on my bed, like gas bubbles both breathing in and out. Went to the ER again, they detected wheezing gave me IV hydrocortisone but no nebulizations because there was no personnel for new years eve.

Finally I felt short of breath with the weird noises, I needed to go to a specialist ER, who diagnosed an Asthma bout, because of the GERD/Infection, again 3 nebulizations, and a post nebulisation spirometry where I was at 96% of expected (Borderline normal), sent home with 50 mg prednisone for 5 days, and 2 combivent Puffs every 8 hours (6 a day), and my usual symbicort/monelukast treatment.

I'm not out of the woods, still feel the noises, even with the puffs, prednisone and nebulizations. I've got short of breath with mild effort and feel tired, ached everywhere, still some cough, no green phlegm anymore and thats it.

Any thoughts? My main doubt/concern is on the weird noises. A full year of bouts and I've never ever felt something like that. Not the classic wheezing, more like crackling, bubbles or gas. Maybe the GERD? I'm in the blue.
By the way, they took two chest X Rays with nothing but a mild irritation shown.

I currently in the procedure and paperwork to return to the Social Security Specialist Service, but this takes a little while. That's why I wanted to check here to see if someone has got a similar experience/sympotms.
