Re: asthma question

I'm not sure what you mean by 'winter asthma', but the changes in season can cause changes people's asthma triggers.

Cold air is a common trigger in winter. Is this what you mean?

Cold air is one of my triggers. I always wear a scarf covering my mouth when I'm outside, and it's helped a lot.

Re: asthma question

I am going to agree with you dreamingofasong. I have had asthma since I was 2 and winter is always my worst time of the year.

Re: asthma question

I must agree that cold air is a certain trigger, at least for myself it is. I live in southern California where winters are fairly mild, and I remember going to Ohio as a kid during the winter and had one of the worst asthma attacks to date. Summer can be dreadful for me here, but for some reason, I am unable to tolerate really cold air.
