Not diagnosed but need further information

Ok, the first time I noticed that I was having issues or symptoms was in winter of 2011, so earlier when it was cold and there was snow on the ground. I was playing on the Wii with one of those dancing games. Not too long after I stopped I couldn't stop coughing which followed with some mild wheezing. My mother is a nurse and told me to breathe through my nose. That didn't help. It probably lasted for maybe half an hour if that. Afterwards I felt fine.

This time however, probably 6 or 7 months later I was again dancing to a game and again not too long after I was coughing and the wheezing was more apparent and loud. Again mom told me to breathe through my nose, but when health issues arise in me not too much is done. Some people say I complain a lot and blow small problems way out of proportion. Again this attack lasted maybe half an hour, but this time I have a lingering cough. It usually tastes like iron or blood. Probably from coughing so hard, but I can't help it. I tried to agitate whatever this was the next night but I couldn't. Nothing happened. I had this game for 5 nights total and the symptoms started on the third night. So I danced for two nights before without any problems.

I do have to mention that last summer I was at camp and they thought I had whooping cough. I was later diagnosed with Bronchitis. I am rather active in my daily life. I do a lot of things outside, and when I can't do things outside I do enjoy things inside. I do have to mention too that I do have pets. Whether it is important or not. I also go see my family physician on Friday, but I thought I could get some replies faster.

Thanks for reading and hope someone can help.

Re: Not diagnosed but need further information

Might have been an attack of exercise induced asthma. Or, it could be something else. Do you have allergies? Itchy red eyes or runny nose or anything?
