Nasal congestion after flovent

guys

flovent was doing good for me about 3 months and helps keep my asthma in control

However, recently it seems to congest my nose as soon as i take it for 30 mins or so and during that time, i try to clear out the phlegm in my nose. That usually causes me not to breath very well - it almost seems counter intuitive

has anybody else seen these symptoms with flovent and would advair perform better?

Thx

Re: Nasal congestion after flovent

I was kinda having the same problem, except flovent was also causing my sinuses to swell. I was taking it for about a month and stopped, like you said it seemed counter intuitive. I felt ok until I took my medicine then I felt worse, I just didn't want to do that anymore..I've actually been ok since I stopped (about 2 weeks ago) Do you have any other side effects? I would get a bad headache and my teeth were VERY sensitive.

Re: Nasal congestion after flovent

Did you stop all of a sudden or gradually phased down the treatment? I'm currently taking 110mcg 2x in the morning and 2x in the night.
