    Results.

    I had private bloods done and the ones which were abnormal were;
    T Cells CD3 +85.10 range 62-80
    CD57 + NK cells (absolute) -59 range 100-360
It says this indicates chronic immune suppression.
Any ideas? I haven't been well for 15yrs and still no answers.

zipster, could you provide some context---meaning symptoms, labs, etc? I'm just a patient (lupus) but I bet multiple AI's can deplete various components of the immune response---and infections could too, I think. Sorry to have no guesses to share, but I think the list of possibilities is probably way too long to be useful. Sending best wishes.

    Re: Results.

Over the years i have had positive ANA, High RF, Low Vit D and only ever been given cfs/me as a diagnosis. I got private bloods sent to Armin labs to test for lyme and i had a weak positive and very low CD57 which suggests a chronic suppressed immune system. I have been tested for lupus, hepatitis, Rheumatoid arthritis, ms etc and nothing except what i have stated. Any ideas?

What are your symptoms? How high has ANA been? (ANA is positive in many conditions, including ones not within rheumatology, like certain GI conditions, certain endocrine conditions, etc.)

I think RF can be "somewhat" positive in multiple conditions other than RA. So, do you have copies of labs, to see if anti-CCP was run? (Anti-CCP is considered an excellent predictive test for RA.) And if you have those labs, you can also see the last time the OTHER most common "ANA subtypes" were run (anti-ds-DNA, anti-Sm, anti-RNP, etc.) Also when thyroid tests were last run (since thyroid symptoms can mimic those seen in other conditions)...

How low is your Vit D? (There's a point below which it requires treatment.)

Sorry to be this general, am just trying to get some teeth [figuratively speaking!!!] into something that may ring bells & generate some thoughts.

    Re: Results.

Anti ccp was 21 above 7 is positive
    IgM was 2.65 range (0.71 to 2.30)
All other ANA subtypes were negative
    Vit D was 45
    ESR (Westergren)
    13  mm/hour (1 to 12) Auth (---)*
I have had numerous symptoms over the years, Headaches, dizziness, tingling, gut symptoms, fatigue, depression, anxiety, muscle and joint pain, neck/back pain and stiffness, nausea etc etc.
Thyroid tests done recently and all within ranges.
