Definitely autoimmune disease...possibilities could be sjogrens, lupus, RA, liver disease, and maybe infection etc. When are you getting results, and are you seeing a rheumatologist?

    Re: Any ideas?

I saw a rheumatologist and he said rheumatoid arthritis and I've just been on prednisolone and hydroxychloroquine. I felt great on 15mg of prednisolone but since tapering off them I feel worse than ever.

How long since tapered off the pred?

And your doc hasn't given you a plan? At what dosage did you start to feel crappy, and how fast did you taper at what dosages?

    Re: Any ideas?

I started on 15mg for 2 weeks, then 10mg for 2 weeks, 7.5mg for 2 weeks, 5mg for 2 weeks, 2.5 mg for 2 weeks. I felt great on 15 and 10. I started feeling less energy etc when l went under 7.5mg.

It could be you tapered too quickly...especially once you tapered at to and you started to feel unwell or in more pain.

Contact your doctor...ask if you can go back to 10 and taper more slowly.
