DDD after L5S1 PLIF - Advice Welcomed

Hi. I had single level fusion about 2 years ago. At the time had 2 herniations in neck. Increasing pain and tingling since then, in neck and lower back, shoulders, down arms and legs. Went for cervical MRI and results show 4 herniation in cervical spine and also 1 in thoracic showed on cervical MRI. Awaiting test results for thoracic MRI and lumbar MRI now. I'm looking for non narcotic solutions that have worked for some. Do not know how many herniations I have in all yet but it's at least 6. Tried Cymbalta for 3 days but could not sleep and was nauseous. I just started taking classes to become a certified teacher. Is that even realistic with this condition? I am 42 years old. I can't even carry a small purse without pain. 46 year old brother has 12 herniations, 44 year old brother has 10. Thanks. Headed to physical rehabilitation doctor with results on Tuesday.
