Hip Pain 1 Year Post Laminectomy
Hi,
I had an L4-5 laminectomy exactly a year ago. Took a long time to build stamina after sitting for so long, but feeling like my old self. I still have one sided hip pain which developed after the surgery, only at night. It's gotten better - it used to take 15-20 minutes of walking around to feel ok, but now it stops hurting almost as soon as I get up. My PT exercises help, but doesn't eliminate it, and massage will eliminate it for about a day. It's obviously muscular, but I have no idea how to identify the muscle and heal/stretch/exercise it. Anybody have any ideas? I'm only on Celebrex currently. As soon as my deductible is used up, I'm going to try acupuncture; I think it's the only thing I haven't tried.
