For those with scoliosis- what exercises do you find to put little or no pressure on your back? I'm trying to focus on my abs, chest, and arms. I'm a skinny guy trying to bulk up a bit, and it sucks to have restrictions I have these random sudden onset of extreme back pain sometimes when doing twisting exercises.

Re: Scoliosis and exercise
The safest way to proceed is to hire a trainer or go to a physical therapist to learn the proper way to do the exercises. I know there are some weight machines that can be used safely. I joined a sports club that had swimming pools and equipment, and an educated trainer who understood my limitations. She was able to show me which machines I could safely use. I could use some of the elliptical trainers and recumbent bikes. She taught me some exercises to do in the water that were very helpful.
You should avoid any exercise that involves repetitious bending or twisting of the torso.
