Re: How to help Sciatica Pain?

Sciatic pain is often caused by something like a bulging disc or stenosis pressing on a lower lumbar nerve...L5, S1, sometimes L4. You can find many helpful articles, exercise videos on exercises to help sciatic pain online. Use ice packs or heat over the lower lumbar level, whichever feels better.

Another "exercise" that feels great and helps a lot:

Lie on a flat surface like a carpeted floor on the back, with knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Place arms close to the sides with palms facing up toward the ceiling. Now relax. Breathe slowly and deeply from the belly. Do this from 2 to 5 minutes.

Sciatic pain is very painful and debilitating. The only treatment that helped me was surgery as my central canal was almost completely closed and the nerves were being badly compressed.
