    Lower back pain

I've had herniated disks in the past but this is different. It's a dull pain that moves around from lower to upper back and even my waist on both sides. My Dr has xrayed for kidney stones, CBC and urine analysis, all normal. What the heck could this be? I've had it for 1 month. Heat and ice don't do a thing. I'm not constipated. Any ideas? I'm so frustrated.

    Hi Lady221,

I think you should make an appointment with your doctor to be treated. Did you lift any heavy objects? It could be sciatica or you pulled a muscle some how. Do you take anything for the pain? Maybe take some tylenol with a full glass of water. I hope that you and your doctor can resolve the pain issue. If I had that kind of pain I would take a long hot shower to soothe the pain. I know that isn't the case with everybody. I hope you recover quickly, and have some respite from the pain.

Has anyone considered gallbladder disease? GB disease can do exactly what you are talking about. a Gastroenterologist (GI) doctor can give you a HIDA scan to make sure that it is working properly

I had that sort of pain 24 hours before my GB was about to rupture... they got me into surgery right in the nick of time. Ask your Primary if you can be referred or if you do not need a referral, go see a GI doctor and make sure that your GB is not causing this pain.

I had my gallbladder removed years ago.
