Pulled back muscle

About two weeks ago I was stretching and pulled an upper back muscle near my shoulder.

I have been stretching the area every day but the issue still remains.

What else can I do?

Take an anti inflammatory and use a heating pad.

Also kevinla, try soaking in very warm (not too hot) water that has a cup of Epsom salts dissolved in it.

I get relief from muscle cramps with Theraworx foam, available over the counter at pharmacies. Read and follow the directions and don't get it in your eyes. I get instant relief with it.

A heating pad is helpful, as well. The idea is to relax the muscles.

Keep doing some very gentle stretching but don't over-do.
