| Back, legs & feet pain & numbness
Was having numbness and pain in both legs and feet. In Aug 2019 had a L4-L5 decompression. My symptoms went away for about 6 weeks then the symptoms came back worse than before surgery in December 2019 had a L4-L5 fusion symptoms went away for about 8 weeks then came back and I’m still numb and in pain in both legs and feet. My doctor told me he does not know why and has said there’s nothing else he can do. He acts like I’m the only person on earth with these symptoms. I can’t find another doctor that will even see me or look at my records. One doctor even told me I would have to go to another state to get a doctor to see me and give me a second opinion. Anybody else having these symptoms after lumber surgery?

What kind of surgeon did you use: ortho or neuro?

That should never happen. That is so wrong. Are you making the appt as a second opinion? I would just do it as a new patient and then show up with your records....or is your town too small to get away with that? Luckily I live in a town with a major medical center and school.

I have told them that my doctor has released me and told me there’s nothing else he can do. I guess I will have to start looking in Georgia or Alabama to see if I can find someone.

Thank you I’ll look into it. I have a new primary care doctor and he is also going to try and find someone.
