I have had my 3rd kyphoplasty recently. The first one was near about 2016/17. I had my 2nd & 3rd in May & June. I have a DRG stimulator & pain pump implanted in my lumbar. During a pump refill, it was decided to no longer use Dilaudid, but, rather fentanyl (low dose and I had the Transdermal patch about 15 years ago). I have also had hydrocodone 10/325 and it only minimally tamped down the pain. The last two KYPHOPLASTIES were done under local and they had to place my wife from the waiting room to somewhere my screams were more muffled. I cannot handle another K'plasty under a local. I am so fed up with enduring painful procedures with (seemingly) no benefit. I had to give control of the hydrocodone to my wife because: ANGER is only one letter away- -(D)ANGER. Any suggestions from anyone?
I have been battling pain for nearly 24 years now and it progress still.
