| Opposite leg pain/sciatica 6 days post microdisectomy
Hi All,
I had a microdisectomy 6 days ago for a 17mm disc extrusion on my left side. I have felt pretty good, only taken Tylenol for the pain and am up and walking well. Yesterday, I started having buttock/SI joint pain and sciatica in my RIGHT leg. This is how my left side felt right before the herniation. Anybody have any experience with this? I am wondering if I somehow did damage to the other side. I have been pretty vigilant about the "rules" of post-op restrictions. I do have a 20 lb 5 month old, but haven't been lifting her- just manuvering her a little so I can nurse.
