    PT after L5 S1 fusion
    Anyone start the suggested PT while still wearing the back brace? I am 3 weeks past surgery out and neurosurgeon said to go ahead but I only get a limited amount of sessions per my insurance and used a lot of them pre surgery. I am up to walking 1.5 miles outdoors most days and a few stretches my home PT showed me.

    I would just follow the PT exercises at home if you are comfortable doing them. If you really want to go to the PT for them, your surgeon can usually eval you at the end and get you more sessions.
