| ALIF + PLIF (360) back surgery
I’m 3 months out and for the first 6 weeks post opt, I had no pain and everything was great. Then severe nerve pain set in: both legs, numbness, weakness to the point I started falling, and couldn’t get up. My legs would suddenly buckle and down I’d go. Have to use the walker all the time! Doctor doesn’t know why, took another MRI: I was told everything was fine. I always get my own reports and read that everything is in place but there was a new thoracic bulge at T10/12, that wasn’t there before the surgery (this was not told to Me) I researched and found the thoracic nerves control our legs! So wondering if this is the cause. Have apt tomorrow with doc so will see what he says. Anybody having leg weakness which is so severe that they can’t walk without an assistive device?
