    Coccyx pain

I fell Sunday on my behind and I must have bruised my tailbone (coccyx). It felt better yesterday but today it is really sore again. I did do a lot of Christmas shopping today and I was taking a anti inflammatory for a few days but the prescription pill makes me sick to my stomach. I am not going for x-rays or the doctors I have too much to do until Christmas. I have a big party to put on Christmas Eve. Anyone have any suggestions to help be get rid of this pain in my a--.

I can't believe no one ever did this to themselves. Not one reply. Oh well Merry Christmas

I have done this, Molly, but it was many years ago. The only thing I can think of to help you is to try ice or heat, or a combo of both. You probably haven't had replies because everyone is so busy and not getting on their computers.
I hate to tell you this, but it took my coccyx months to heal...but then, mine was broken. Ice would probably help more than anything.
Hope you can get through doing what needs doing and be able to enjoy tomorrow.
    Merry Christmas
    Carol
