| Nerve regeneration?
I had nucleoplasty in July. They damaged a nerve during the procedure. It now has to regenerate. I am confined to bed 19 hours a day. I have pain in my left butt and leg. It start off with a fuzzy feeling, then turns to burning, then a gnawing pain that is intolerable. It does not run down the whole leg. It jumps around. It will last a minute in one spot then go to another and then return. The neurologist told me it is a classic case of nerve regeneration that can take anywhere from 12 months or more to repair. He started me on Neurontin yesterday. Anyone else have this problem and what do you take for it?
