Backpain : Watching TV with a LaZBoy recliner

For watching TV, is there a way to make the LaZBoy recliner not hurt your back?

we have one and sometimes it feels better other times it hurts. However, ours has 17 settings, it reclines flat. My guess would be that there is no way to make it feel better, I have heard they aren't good for your back. I pretty much stay on the couch, on my side with a pillow between my knees.

Having a mini fridge within arms reach (fully stocked with your favorite beer of course), and a holster sewn into the side of the chair for your remote (above the recline release as to not cause a shoulder strain), other than that, you've pretty much stumped me.
