paying for an MRI

paying for an MRI

hey there
curious is any fellow backpain people know if any ways to get a cheaper MRI

i dont have medical insurance (long story)

I am 35 years old

I am led to believe county medical services only helps people with an income of under $800 a month

and the whole gambit of medicade and medical thingys depend if you have kids (I dont) and are over 60 (I am not)

anybody have any insight into not spending $1300 on a MRI?

I am saving my money for when I cant work anymore :}

you may want to look into a charity care or community care program at the hospital you had the MRI at. Sometimes they offer a discount - I know by me, they offer a 20% - 100% discount based on income. Might be something to look into.....
