Thumbs up post op visit

hi, I had my first post op visit yesterday, they made x-rays first and the doctor showed them to me, I could see the 2 rods, 6 screws and 2 cages, I asked why I didn't have to wear a brace after surgery, and he said that my bone was so good that I didn't need one, Praise the Lord. He is very pleased with my progress, and thinks that I will be just fine. I go back to see him in 2 months. Valley

Re: post op visit

GREAT NEWS, More and more of us are going without the Brace now. I am so THRILLED you can go without one PT called my Surgeon and I got in trouble for wearing my brace while driving, guess no brace, means no brace but I was only being cautious.
Lets all P-A-R-T-Y for NO Braces!

Re: post op visit

I am very happy to hear this valley. I have one more xray to get and hopefully it will clear me to get rid of my brace and the stimulator. Again, great news!
